We at Redemption Chapel are passionate about foster care and adoption. Since April and May are National Child Abuse Prevention and National Foster Care months respectively, we want to encourage you to consider what it looks like to continue to open up our hearts and homes to more foster kids in Summit County.

    • Child Development 6:45pm-8:45pm 
  • Saturday, May 2
    • The Basics of Placement 9am-11:30am
    • Effects of Caregiving 12:15pm-2:15pm
    • Adolescent Development 2:30pm-3:30pm
  • Sunday, May 3
    • Maintaining the Child’s Connections 1:30pm-3pm
    • Partnering with the Primary Families 3:15pm-4:45pm
  • Friday, May 8
    • The Impact of Trauma on Children in Care 6:30pm-8pm
    • Permanency 8:15pm-9:15pm
  • Saturday, May 9
    • Enhancing the Child’s Sense of Belonging 9am-10:30am
    • Discipline Foundations 10:45am-12:45pm
  • Location: Redemption Chapel
  • Classes open to anyone (whether you attend Redemption Chapel or not)
  • Classes will be taught by trainers from Summit County Children Services
