Event Support
Help set up, prepare, serve, and clean up food for various church events.
Foster Care
God clearly has a heart for foster kids and foster families, and we are uniquely positioned to be the hands and feet of Christ to those in the foster system. Even if you aren’t prepared to be a foster parent at this time, there are tons of ways to be a blessing to foster families and kids that are in the foster system.
Parking Team
Not only do you help direct traffic flow, but you are the first point of contact. Remember to smile and wave! Parking team members serve on Sundays and at other events as needed.
Door Greeter
Second point of contact. Smile, open doors, greet visitors and members. Assist anyone coming in or leaving as needed.
Coffee and Donuts
Responsibilities include setting up Coffee/Donut stations, making coffee, cutting and placing donuts on trays, and then replenishing these in the atrium as needed (as well as sugars, creamer, etc.). Also, breaking down after serving time is over.
Welcome Kiosks
Make everyone that comes to your kiosk feel welcomed and at ease. Direct guests to appropriate areas and give them relevant info and resources.
Quality Control
Help to oversee that the other hospitality teams are running smoothly on Sunday mornings. Also, looking for anything that’s out of place and fixing it.
Early Childhood Teacher
Lead kids ages 2-5 through prepared activities, games, and songs designed to help them have fun learning about the Bible story. Build relationships with kids in your group and partner with parents to help kids grow in their relationship with Jesus. Curriculum is provided.
Early Childhood Assistant
Assist the teacher in leading the prepared activities, games, and songs with the 2-5 year olds. Be proactive about addressing problems between kids before they escalate and about meeting needs as they come up in the classroom. Model the behavior you want the children to exhibit.
Elementary Teacher
Lead a group of elementary students through prepared activities and games that reinforce the week’s Bible Story. Build relationships with kids in your group and partner with parents to help kids grow in their relationship with Jesus. Curriculum is provided.
Elementary Assistant
Assist the teacher in leading the prepared activities with the elementary kids. Be proactive about addressing problems between kids before they escalate and about meeting needs as they come up in the classroom. Model the behavior you want the children to exhibit.
Special Needs Buddy
Help kids with learning differences navigate Kidzone. Help them feel loved, welcomed, and included in all activities.
COACH
Help supervise Kidzone on Sunday mornings and make sure our safety policies are maintained. Assist our Kidzone staff in meeting any needs that arise throughout the morning.
HOST
Provide a high-energy, goofy, and fun on stage presence! Reinforce the lessons from the Bible Story each week. Script is provided.
HUB DESK WORKER
Greet and direct families as they enter Kidzone. Assist with computerized check-in as necessary. Give a friendly first impression that makes new families feel welcome!
KIDZONE TECH
Run the sound board, lighting, and presentation computer for Kidzone services on Sunday mornings.
NURSERY VOLUNTEER
Care for and hold babies. Minister to parents by creating a safe environment for their little one. Must be 16 or older to serve in this area.
WORSHIP KIDSTYLE LEADER
Lead and teach kids the worship songs and motions for each week. This role requires a high energy, dynamic, on-stage presence! It also requires learning and teaching simple choreography. It does not require actually singing.
Meal Ministry
Provide meals to those in need including families with new babies, families of those hospitalized or in need some other way. All contact info and special circumstances are provided by the coordinators. Usually these meals are only for those not in a CG.
Photography
Help us capture moments at various church events.
Tuesday Morning Childcare
Help out during the women’s Bible study by watching children so their moms can enjoy the study.
MDWK (Wednesday Nights)
Help out on a weekly basis at the middle school large group meeting, with check-in procedures, games, crowd control and more.
Gather (Sunday Nights)
Help out on a weekly basis at the high school large group meeting, with check-in procedures, games, crowd control and more.
Musician/Vocalists
Participate on the worship team on Sunday mornings and attend rehearsal on Thursday evenings.
Tech Team
Run the sound board, lighting, cameras, or presentation computer and assist in set-up for worship services on Sunday mornings.
